The Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives
For generations, the Mount of Olives has served as a burial site for the Jews of Jerusalem, who have always been careful to separate between the city of the living and the city of the dead. A walk along the paths of the cemetery invites us to encounter the important figures of Jerusalem’s past, and this encounter enables us to get to know the city through the figures whose stories are an inseparable part of the city’s history. This is an opportunity to get to know the deeds of outstanding figures such as: Henrietta Szold, S.Y. Agnon, HaRav Kook, and others whose graves we will visit on the tour and whose stories we will tell.
