Tour of the Agricultural Farm and a Wine and Cheese Workshop with the Chef Moshe Azran
A unique outing at the farm which begins with a special tour of the agricultural farm, where we will explore ancient Jerusalem agriculture in its various forms with the City of David’s best guides. Afterwards, we will have a wine and cheese workshop with Chef Moshe Azran, where we will learn about different types of cheeses, pick fresh herbs and ingredients for a salad, and even learn how to make cheese ourselves!
The activity concludes with a delicious chef’s meal: focaccia and freshly baked bread from a traditional oven, a variety of dips, and exquisite wine.
Activity duration: approximately two and a half hours.

Tour of the Agricultural Farm and a Foraging Workshop
A special outing at the farm begins with a special tour of the agricultural farm, where we will explore ancient Jerusalem agriculture in its various forms with the City of David’s very best guides.
Next up is a foraging workshop where we will learn to identify various plants, and then use our foraged ingredients to cook delicious and diverse dishes, which will vary according to the plants that are in season.
We will prepare pitas in the traditional method- on a fire, enjoy local tea, and even learn how to start a fire using flintstones!
Activity duration: approximately two hours.

A fun outing at the Agricultural Farm. We begin with a special tour of the Agricultural Farm, where we will explore ancient Jerusalem agriculture in its various forms with the City of David’s very best guides.
We continue to a special cheese-making workshop where we will pick fresh herbs, make traditional Circassian goat cheese, prepare two special spreads from our foraging, bake pitas in the taboon oven, and taste local tea made from a special recipe.

Tour of the Agricultural Farm with a Wine Workshop with Yoram Cohen
A special outing at the farm begins with a special tour of the agricultural farm, where we will explore ancient Jerusalem agriculture in its various forms with the City of David’s very best guides. Then, a special wine workshop with sommelier Yoram Cohen will open a gateway to the secretive world of wine flavors.
We will lounge outdoors, tasting different types of wines accompanied by delicious cheeses. We will learn to distinguish between various aromas and flavors, explore the many aspects involved in winemaking, from different grape varieties to the intricacies of wine aging, and understand how the winemaking process affects its taste.
Activity duration: approximately two hours.

The Agricultural Farm is located in the grassy area at the entrance to the Hinnom Valley, near the Jerusalem Cinematheque.Paid parking is available at nearby parking lots- Mount Zion Hotel parking lot, the First Station parking lot, and the Liberty Bell Park parking lot.Walking distance from the First Station and the Mount Zion area to the Farm is approximately 15 minutes.
It is not possible to park there. There is a bay for dropping off passengers in buses and vehicles.
