Contact UsWalk on the original massive stone paving of Jerusalem from the Second Temple period, along the route taken by pilgrims on their way to the Temple nearly 2,000 years ago. This was the bustling main street of Ancient Jerusalem, connecting the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount, revealed after years of archaeological excavations.
The tour begins with a viewpoint overlooking Ancient Jerusalem, continues with a descent to the Pool of Siloam – the starting point of the pilgrimage – and then follows the Pilgrimage Road, the central street that led worshippers to the Temple. The tour concludes at the Davidson Visitor Center, where visitors may continue exploring the site after the tour.

The Pilgrimage Road was the main thoroughfare of Jerusalem during the Second Temple period, leading from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple (Temple Mount). Along this road, generations of pilgrims made their way to the Temple. It served as a central artery of movement and daily life in Ancient Jerusalem. Today, the Pilgrimage Road can be visited as part of a guided tour or as a self-guided walk in the City of David.
