It’s time to take advantage of the European atmosphere of the Jerusalem winter and enjoy an international level show without leaving the country! Advanced 3D projection video mapping technology combined with unique pyrotechnics with jets of fire and water erupting from the City of David’s antiquities, provide an awesome, powerful experience. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you are welcome to come with a blanket, indulge in a cup of hot, steaming coffee from our buffet and enjoy an extraordinary experience.
Finding things to do in Jerusalem on a winter day can be a challenge. But why hunt for solutions underground, when there are perfect solutions that are already underground? Through the Biblical City of David tour and the City of David near the Western Wall tour, you can discover the ancient underground world that the residents of Jerusalem carved out of the Jerusalem rock many years ago!
At the Biblical City of David tour, you’ll be able to enjoy an impressive presentation using 3D technology, which tells the dramatic story of the quarrying of the Siloam Tunnel.
At the “City of David meets the Western Wall” tour, you can follow the last rebels from the Second Temple Period and visit the “Jeremiah Pit” – a fascinating active excavation site that is usually closed to the public, and is open for a limited time, for those who hurry up and come visit.
When you feel like getting out of the house for a fun, special and enriching activity, but the rain won’t stop falling, the solution is found in the Archaeological Experience at Emek Tzurim! The activity is indoors, has plenty of parking and is suitable for all ages. In the Archaeological Experience, anyone can be an archaeologist, help us uncover treasures from the earth of ancient Jerusalem, and learn the history of the most fascinating city in the world, from a different and new angle. It is important to note – this activity is fully accessible to people with disabilities, including special accessible sifting stations, so that the experience is complete and rich for everyone.
