The accommodations area has a separate sitting area with wooden benches and swings, and like the entire camping complex – is surrounded by green nature and overlooks a spectacular view of the Peace Forest.

Arriving by car:
There is plenty of free parking at the entrance of the site.
Public transportation:
Bus lines to Hebron Road: 71, 72, 74, 75, 7
Bus stops: Hama’abada/Hevron road / Hevron road/Hanoch Albeck
Enter Naomi Street and you will immediately come to a fork in the road where there are clear signs for “Peace Forest” and “Segway tours”
At the fork, turn right on a descent next to the Planet building to “Derech Gedud 68” and travel about 200 meters.
After about 200 meters there will be a sign on the left for Segway tours. Turn left there on the descending parking lot access path.
At the end of the parking lot there is a green gate with a sign “Welcome to the Peace Forest” – this is the entrance gate to the site

- Check-in will take place on Sundays – Thursdays between the hours of 15:00 – 22:00, on Fridays at 13:00 – up to two hours before the entrance of Shabbat. On Saturdays – check-in is not possible.
- Check-out will take place on Sundays – Thursdays at 11:00, on Fridays at 10:00 and on Saturdays – up to one hour after the end of Shabbat
- There is plenty of parking at the entrance to the camping site
- No dogs allowed in the camping site
- Fires should only be lit in designated areas
- Music is permitted in low volumes only, so as not to disturb the visitors
- Do not stretch or connect power cables or extension cords
- Cancelation policy: Accommodations – up to 7 business days prior to arrival, Tent camping – up to 3 business days prior to arrival

The area is suitable for Shabbat observance:
The area is open to the community at large, and entrance of cars and fires are allowed in permitted areas on site. However, Shabbat observant guests will find everything necessary to stay in the heart of nature while observing the halachot of Shabbat.
- Eruv around the complex, certified by an ordained rabbi
- Prayer area, with Sefer Torah (Ashkenaz version).
- Hot water urns and hot plates for Shabbat
- Area for candle lighting
- Guests should bring their own wine for Kiddush, Shabbat candles, etc.
- Late check out from the site after Shabbat ends at no additional cost

קמפינג ״יער השלום״ ירושלים, ההרכב שלנו היה זוג הורים, 7 ילדים (20, 17, 9, 5, שנתיים ותשעה חוד, שנה וחצי ו 3 חודשים). לקחנו קראוון ובו 3 מיטות ואוהל. קצת על המקום: הקמפינג ממוקם מרחק הליכה ממתחם התחנה הראשונה בתוך יער קטן ושקט, קיצר מקום חלום. המקום מגודר ומאובטח 24/7 יש טרסות ודשא שעליהם ניתן להקים אוהלים ויש 4 יחידות קראוון (2 יח׳ עם 3 מיטות ועוד 2 יח׳ עם 8 מיטות) שבהם יש מזגן כמובן שירותים ומקלחת. ביחידות הגדולות יש גם מטבחון ומקרר. מקבלים כלי מיטה ומגבות. לטובת כלל האתר יש מקרר ומקפיא גדולים, מטבח פתוח עם כיריים חשמליות ומיחם מים חמים, שירותים מקלחת לנשים וגברים בנפרד, כיסאות משולחנות מתקפלים ומזרונים (בתשלום) ומנגלים. בשביל אחת כמוני חסרת ניסיון ועוד עם קטנטנים כל אלו עזרו לנו מאוד להתאקלמות של רעיון הקמפינג. מקום מושלם. ממליצה בהחלט.
חופשה בירושלים ☺️ אז עלינו לירושלים לסוג-של-קמפינג ביער השלום דרך עיר דוד- יש שם כמה אופציות, אפשר להקים אוהלים ואפשר לישון בכמה סוגי קרוואנים. אנחנו ישנו בקרוואן שמתאים לשמונה אנשים והיה מעולה. החדרים נקיים ואזורי הזולה ממש כיפיים, הצוות מאד שירותי ונחמד. מזג האוויר מושלם ונעים נעים בערב. כבר שנה שניה שלנו כאן ואני לגמרי ממליצה על המקום.
נופש יוצא דופן- קמפינג עירוני- קמפינג יער השלום. אתמול נסענו אל מקום שהיה נראה לנו מגניב, פעם ראשונה לנסות נופש בסוג של קראוון. הקמפינג נמצא בירושלים ביער השלום ויש אפשרות לכמה סוגי לינה במקום(אוהלים, מאהל גדול, בקתות קטנות והיחידות אירוח סוג של קראוון כמו במה שאנחנו לנו). היחידות עצמן מאובזרות היטב ונראות ממש חדישות. היו לנו 4 מיטות פלוס 2 מיטות גבוהות ודאגו לי גם לעריסה לבייבי. ביחידה יש מקלחת ושירותים, מזגן ומטבחון עם מקרר וקומקום. ביום הראשון יצאנו מביתנו באזור המרכז בשעות הבוקר והגענו לפעילות של סינון ארכיאולוגי בעמק צורים שנמצא באזור הר הזיתים. הילדים ואפילו אנחנו נהנינו ממש, החכמנו ולמדנו וסיננו אדמה מלפני 2000 שנה. לאחר הפעילות עשננו פיקניק במקום. הגענו למתחם הקמפינג התמקמנו נחנו וארגנו ארוחת ערב, איך לא, על האש. יום 2 בבוקר אכלנו א. בוקר עשירה באוויר הצח של ירושלים. בצהריים היינו בעיר דוד בסיור מודרך, עשינו את המסלול הרטוב וזה היה החלק הכי שווה כיוון שהיינו עם קטנים שלא כ"כ עניין אותם הדיבורים של המדריך. אבל אין ספק שזה נותן משמעות וחיות לטייל ולדרוך במקום שיש בו היסטוריה ולדעת אותה! חזרנו לאוהל, אכלנו והתארגנו ליציאה. בתוכנית מופע ״הללויה״, לא יודעת איך חשבתי שנוכל ללכת כולנו אבל הקטנים היו מותשים והאמת שגם אנחנו אז המחשבה של להוציא אותם שוב גרמה לבעלי להישאר עם 3 הקטנים.אני והגדולים (גם הבן 5) הלכנו והיה פשוט מושלם. מה אגיד לכם, זה היה מרהיב, מרשים, מופע מושקע ועשוי טוב. בחזור (כבר 12 בלילה) עוד טיילנו קצת במתחם התחנה.

You enter Naomi Street and you immediately come to a fork in the road where there are clear signs with the words “Yer HaShalom” and “Rachinoo Tours”.
At the fork of the streets, turn right going downhill next to the “Yes Planet” building, onto Derech Gadot 68 Street.
After about 200 meters there is another sign on the left side with the inscription “Rachino tours”. Turn left down the driveway to the parking lot.
At the end of the parking lot there is a green gate with a sign “Welcome to the Peace Forest” and it is the entrance gate to the site.
There is free parking at the entrance of the Peace Forest Camping Site.
Areas to set up tents, common kitchenete, ninja facilities for children and youth, barbecue areas, electrical outlets, a station for charging mobile phones, picnic tables and benches, restrooms and showers.
