2007-2012

Dr. Doron Ben Ami, from the Institute of Archeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specialized in the Iron Age and wrote his research on Hazor in the tenth century BCE as well as the entire Galilee during this period. He wrote his research through many years of participation in the excavations of the City of Hazor in the north of the country under the direction of Prof. Amnon Ben Tor.

In 2007, he came to manage the Givati Parking Lot excavation in the City of David, the most extensive excavation in Jerusalem today. This excavation resulted in the discovery of finds important in the understanding of the history of the city.
