Blue and White in the Heart of the Soviet Division
At the Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, there is a mass grave that tells a remarkable story of heroism — the story of the fighters of the 16th Division. Approximately 15,000 soldiers served in the Lithuanian Division of the Red Army, more than 9,000 of them Jewish.

Why travel to Rome? The archaeological wonder is coming to Jerusalem
A new and special exhibition in the City of David will allow a glimpse of ancient 2000 year old burial caves, inside which illustrations with Jewish symbols have been discovered. The exhibition was established thanks to a comprehensive study by the Israel Antiquities Authority that stretched across the sea – to the Italian capital.
The discovery, from the time of Antigonus II Mattathias, the last of the Hasmonean kings, was found during the screening of dirt excavated under the Robinson Arch.
