Come and welcome Shabbat in the most magical hours of Jerusalem, every Friday from 13:00 – 15:00.
Entrance is free with advance registration.

As the sun begins its descent and the whole city is enveloped in a special, festive atmosphere, we will meet at the Farm in the Valley for Kabbalat Shabbat in the special Jerusalem atmosphere, to the sounds of traditional and Israeli music that penetrate the soul and spirit. At the Farm a musical performance awaits you with songs of Kabbalat Shabbat and of the land of Israel.

List of Performances:

The Ja’ala Band – will perform on the following dates:
May 23, May 30, June 20, June 27, July 4, July 11, August 15, August 22, September 5, September 19

The “Shir Chadash” Ensemble – will perform on the following dates:
June 6, June 13, August 8, August 29, September 12

Please note: During the Three Weeks period (Bein HaMetzarim), there will be no performances at the farm.

You can also visit the longest suspension bridge in Israel.

Essential Information

Shuttles

On Friday, shuttles are available at no charge from the First Station Parking to the Farm in the Valley beginning at 12:00. At the end of the activities, shuttles await to return you to the First Station.

Arriving on Your Own

The Farm in the Valley is located in the Ben Hinnom Valley, next to the Jerusalem Cinematheque.

Parking is available for a charge at the following nearby parking lots: Mount Zion Hotel, First Station and Liberty Bill Park parking lots.

From the parking lots you can walk to the Jerusalem Cinematheque where there are signs directing you to the location.

Walking time from the First Station and Mount Zion Hotel area is about 15 minutes.
