Join us to welcome Shabbat during Jerusalem’s most magical hours, every Friday from 12:00–14:00.

As the sun begins to set and the city is wrapped in a unique, festive atmosphere, we’ll gather at the Farm in the Valley for a special Kabbalat Shabbat experience. Enjoy live performances of traditional and Israeli music that speak to the heart and soul, with musical ensembles performing beloved Shabbat and Eretz Israel songs.

Food truck open from 9:00 AM throughout Kabbalat Shabbat.

Please note: Kabbalat Shabbat will not take place during the Three Weeks.

Essential Information

Shuttles

On Friday, shuttles are available at no charge from the First Station Parking to the Farm in the Valley beginning at 12:00. At the end of the activities, shuttles await to return you to the First Station.

Arriving on Your Own

The Farm in the Valley is located in the Ben Hinnom Valley, next to the Jerusalem Cinematheque.

Parking is available for a charge at the following nearby parking lots: Mount Zion Hotel, First Station and Liberty Bill Park parking lots.

From the parking lots you can walk to the Jerusalem Cinematheque where there are signs directing you to the location.

Walking time from the First Station and Mount Zion Hotel area is about 15 minutes.

FAQ

Yes, advance registration is required through the website.

On Fridays, free shuttles will be available from the First Station parking lot to the Farm in the Valley starting at 11:30. At the end of the activity, shuttles will be waiting to take you back to the First Station.

You may also arrive at the Farm independently. We recommend parking in one of the parking lots near the First Station and continuing on foot.
