Our ancient agricultural farm is a rural venue which preserves nature in all its glory. The Farm offers a unique hospitality experience in nature. The Farm is located in the Ben Hinnom Valley, at the foot of the Old City walls, and within walking distance from the First Station complex.
The Valley of Hinnom, which is well-known due to the unusual burial caves found throughout, is alive and blossoming with flowers and foliage.
The Agricultural Farm takes the concept of “urban nature” to the next level.
Nestled in the heart of the city, near the First Station and beneath the Cinematheque, lies a hidden gem surrounded by greenery and a picturesque waterfall. Here, visitors can discover the rich history of agriculture that sustained the residents of Jerusalem thousands of years ago. From olive picking to sunflower picking and grape pressing, the experience brings the secrets of ancient agriculture to the 21st century.
The agricultural farm is a unique and pastoral outdoor venue. At the Farm in the Valley, one may hold intimate family gatherings, religious ceremonies (weddings, brit milah, Torah readings), events for soldiers, small performances, lectures, Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebrations, and more.
The Farm is open for bookings from March to November, and can accommodate up to 140 guests.
At the farm, a variety of workshops and activities can be held:
Accessible tours for people with disabilities, seasonal and annual workshops for students and adults, pita baking as well as other workshops.
The Farm area is accessible to those with physical disabilities.
