One can walk through the Kidron Channel at the foot of the City of David and see “Jerusalem’s Petra”, the grand and magnificent stone monuments carved into the rock over two thousand years ago. These impressive tombs are known as the Tomb of Absalom, the Tomb of Zechariah, and the Tomb of Benei Hezir.
Upon arrival, you are welcome to stop by “Ha’Orchan Ba’Kidron” – ancient-style hospitality with an authentic atmosphere and low seating on mats and cushions. The ‘Orchan’ is available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, and complimentary hot tea and coffee will be served.
*Hot tea is served to children under the age of 18.
The facility can be reserved for private groups with prior arrangement, for a buffet meal including salads, falafel, French fries, pita bread, and plenty of laffa bread.
A minimum of 30 participants is required for the buffet meal.
The meal is kosher, and alternative options can be requested for individuals with food sensitivities.
The facility accommodates groups of up to 50 participants indoors, and if the weather permits, an additional 200 seats can be arranged outdoors.
The ‘Orchan’ is currently closed, it is located in a public area.

81 and 83א bus lines- Get off at the Mount of Olives bus stop, at the Mount of Olives Information Center, the first stop on Derech Yericho.
Take bus line 1 or 3 in the direction of the Western Wall. Get off at the Derech Yericho/Ha’Ofel stop, which is three stops before the Western Wall. Continue towards the traffic light, cross the street, and continue straight on Derech Yericho Street. After 250 meters you will reach the Mount of Olives Information Center, a single floor structure beneath a huge pergola.
Bus line 51- Get off at the Mount of Olives bus stop, at the Mount of Olives Information Center, the first stop on Derech Yericho.
