 We recommend parking at one ot the parking lots in the area, and taking a taxi from there.

Arriving from the Western Wall

From the Western Wall, it’s just a short walk to the City of David Guest Units.

Exit through the Dung Gate, turn left, and after about a 2-minute walk you will reach the City of David National Park.

From the entrance to the National Park, continue down the street for about 20 meters and turn left into the alley.
Follow the signs for the City of David Guest Units — after about a one-minute walk, you will arrive at the entrance to the complex.

Please note: there is no parking on site. You may unload your luggage at the entrance to the complex and then continue to park nearby.

  • Line 38 – Circular route through the Jewish Quarter and Western Wall

  • Entrance Lobby (Ground Floor): includes a shared kitchenette equipped with a sink, Tami 4 water dispenser, coffee station, microwave, and mini-fridge.
    On Shabbat, guests may use a hot water urn and a designated area for candle lighting.
  • Outdoor Terraces: some of the rooms feature private terraces with outdoor kitchen areas, some are covered and include seating areas for outdoor dining.
  • Shabbat in a Jerusalem Atmosphere: guests are welcome to use the King’s Courtyard Kitchen for food storage (refrigerators available) and for setting up hot plates and water urns.
    The King’s Courtyard events area is also available for festive Shabbat meals, with tables, tablecloths, and chairs – creating an authentic Jerusalem Shabbat experience.

  • Check-in: Sunday–Thursday from 15:00 to 20:00; on Fridays at 13:00.
    Please note: check-in is not available on Shabbat (Saturday).
  • Check-out: Sunday–Thursday at 11:00, on Fridays at 10:00, and on Saturday nights up to one hour after Shabbat ends.
  • Baby cribs can be added to any unit upon prior request.
  • Some rooms feature an internal connecting door.
  • Housekeeping is provided before check-in only.
    Fresh towels and linens can be requested during your stay.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the complex.
  • Music is allowed at low volume only, to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all guests and visitors.
  • Cancellation policy: up to 7 business days before the arrival date.

  • On Shabbat, guests have access to a designated area for preparation and Shabbat meals.
    This space includes a kitchen with refrigerators and hot plates, as well as an organized seating area with tables and chairs, suitable for family and festive Shabbat meals.
  • Please note: meals are not included. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to use our facilities.
  • Use of this area is for City of David guest unit visitors only and requires prior coordination with the staff.
  • Guests are responsible for bringing their own wine for Kiddush, Shabbat candles, and other items.
  • At the end of Shabbat, guests may check out later (after Shabbat ends) at no additional charge.

    It remains locked at all times, and entry is granted via a personal access code to the main gates — ensuring a quiet and relaxing stay.
  • To provide a smooth and independent guest experience, there is no reception desk on site.
    Before your arrival, you will receive a detailed message containing:
    A code for the main entrance gate, A code for the mechanical key box  (Shabbat-compatible) and a contact number for the on-call staff member available for any need or question
