Celebration in the Farm in the valley October 1-5, 2023
On the days of Sukkot, October 1 to 5, you can enjoy a unique agricultural experience that allows you to feel ancient Jerusalem in your hands, at a special price of 24 NIS for an adult and 14 NIS for a child!
Come and experience a variety of ancient craftsmanship workshops suitable for children of all ages:
pickling olives where we will experience pressing olives, candle making workshop from beeswax, stone-carving workshop, pottery workshop, a crafting corner, donkeys and camels and more.
The ticket for the activity includes participation in all workshops, the workshops will be held during all activity hours. A final workshop will be held at 5:00 p.m.
During the Sukkot holiday, a Sukkah will be set up at the farm.
The workshops will be held in Hebrew.
We recommend to park in the parking lot of the First station complex and take a short 15-minute walk to the farm.
You are also invited to visit the longest suspension bridge in Israel.
Site Facilities
Essential Information
The farm in the valley is located near Gai Ben Hinnom, near the Jerusalem Cinematheque.
You can park in one of the nearby parking lots (for a fee): the Mount Zion Hotel parking lot, the First Station complex parking lot, and the Bell Garden parking lot.
From the parking lots, you can walk to the Jerusalem Cinematheque, where you will find signs and directions.
The walking time from the station complex and the Mount Zion Hotel area to the farm is about 15 minutes.

During Chol Hamoed Sukkot, October 1-5, 2023, activities take place from 11:00AM to 6:00PM.
You can get to the celebration at the farm by walking.
It is recommended to park in one of the parking lots next to the station complex and continue on foot.
The Agricultural farm is accessible to people with disabilities.
A ticket must be purchased for children aged 5 and over.
You can return on foot to the station complex, navigate using Google Maps.
As part of the activity, you can participate in all the workshops.
